Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Japanese Fighter Plane

1/72 scale die-cast model

Measures approx. 5¼” long with 7″ wingspan

Includes display stand

Introduced with the Imperial Navy in 1940, the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero was one of the most capable fighters in the world, earning an early-war kill-to-loss ratio of 12 to 1. By 1942, however, Allied technology had equaled the Zero, and, by 1943, it was largely surpassed in effectiveness by enemy fighters. But the Japanese did not have a suitable replacement ready, so they kept the A6M2 Zero in service through 1945. This strikingly accurate model plane features engraved surface details, glazed segmented canopy, well-equipped cockpit, rotating propeller, realistic engine details, and genuine Japanese markings.
