Simon Smith. After having single-handedly destroyed a German Mark V Panther tank, 1st Lieutenant James “Maggie” Megellas leads his platoon of the 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, toward Herresbach, Belgium, on January 28, 1945, at the tail-end of the Battle of the Bulge. Hand numbered, this limited edition print is signed by the artist and by Megellas, the most-decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne Division.
